PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINN. <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Acting Mayor Rustad at 8:00 P.M. on July 26, 1965 <br />at 2401 Highway 10. <br />Present Were: <br />Acting Mayor: <br />Trustee: <br />Absent Were: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Ingram C. Rustad <br />Charles D. La Vaque <br />Perry Malvin <br />Donald C. Hodges <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Also Present: <br />Attorney, Richard Meyers <br />Engineer: Eldon Comstock <br />Adm. Clerk: Paul E. Boog <br />Motion by Malvin to approve minutes of July 12 as presented. <br />Seconded by La Vaque. 3 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Motion by La Vaque to approve minutes of July 19 as presented. <br />Seconded by Rusted. 3 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Mr. Donald Sohm 8206 Groveland Road requested information <br />about storm sewer construction. This matter was referred to the Engineer. <br />Mr. John Pittman 2208 Lois Drive requested information <br />about the possibility of tiling Judicial Ditch 1. He was told that <br />no such plans were ever discussed by the Village. <br />Mr. Pittman complained that the plot stakes on his property <br />were accidently removed by the sewer contractors. This matter <br />was referred to the Engineer. <br />Motion by Malvin to allow Calrence P. Nordstrom 8205 <br />Eastwood Road preliminary approval for subdividing plat two lots <br />to be 75feet and one lot to be 78 feet upon acceptance of a quick <br />claim deed of 25 feet street easement for the extension of Greenwood <br />Drive. Seconded by La Vaque. 3 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Trustee La Vaque read the minutes of the Planning Commission <br />Meeting of July 20. <br />Motion by La Vaque to delete from the Nodland Construction <br />Company Sewer Contract and add to the C.S. McCrossan Inc. Sewer <br />Contract the street resurfacing of Terrace Drive from Quincy Street <br />to Highway 8. The Engineer is instructed to submit a change order <br />to cover this transfer of work and costs. <br />Seconded by Malvin. 3 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />Motion by La Vaque to grant a variance request a five foot <br />side yard set back from Mr. David M. Burg 2291 Lois Drive. <br />Seconded by Malvin. 3 Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />
