PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting of the Village Council was called to order by Mayor Hodges at 6 :30 P.M. on August 16, 1965 at 2401 Highway 10 St. Paul, Minnesota. Present were: Mayor: Clerk: Trustee: Absent: Trustee: Also Present: Engineer: Public Works Donald C. Hodges Lloyd J. Blanchard Perry Malvin Ingram Rusted Charles La Vague Sheldon Boehm Eldon Comstock Walter Skiba The proposed Arden Avenue improvement project was discussed at length with the affected property owners. Motion by Hodges to order the improvement as published (Sewer, water and street) Seconded by Rustad. 4 Ayes. Motion by Malvin to direct the Engineer to prepare final plans and specs. for the Arden Avenue improvement project. Seconded by Blanchard 4 Ayes. A citizens complaint on the Siweck apartments was discussed with the inspection department. Motion by Malvin to have the following items taken care of within 24 hours by the owners of the Siweck apartments. 1. Proper trash burners be installed according to code. 2. One garbage can for each rental unit. 3. Proper doors and louvers in the furnace rooms. 4. Gas leak repaired in clothes dryer. 5. Contract for sewage removal. 6. Windows be repaired. Seconded by Blanchard. 4 Ayes. The inspection department was instructed to notify the owner of the Siweck Apartments of the above action this evening at 8:00 P.M. Motion by Rusted to grant a 3 foot variance to allow a seven foot side yard setback on the East side of property of Mr. Orville Sachs at 2242 Lo' -Drive subject to payment of required fees. Motion by Ru X49 ta accept the Engineers recommendation and adopt Resolution a arding the beautification of Highway 35 W and 694 Seco d b dges. 4 Ayes. tleo A petition was received requesting Sanitary Sewer to be extended North of Arder Avenue on Long Lake Road. Petition referred to the Village Engineer.
