PROCEEDINGS 'IF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTV, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting of <br />the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Hodges <br />at 7:00 P.M., September 7, 1965 at 2401 Highway 10. <br />Present were: <br />Mayor: Donald C. Hodges <br />Clerk: Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Trustee: Charles D. La Vague <br />Ingram C. Rustad <br />Absent: <br />Trustee: Perry L. Malvin <br />The Mayor called three times for furthur bids on Water Imprc-se- <br />ment Project 1965 -3. Bidding was closed. <br />The Engineer read the bids as follows: <br />C.S. 41cCrossan 10% 8,581.00 As Speci <br />Walbon Excavating 10% 7,000.00 As Spec. <br />Erwin Montgomery Const. 1095 9,359.20 45 Cal. days. <br />The Mayor called three times for bids submitted and not read. There <br />were none. <br />Motion by La Vague to refer the bids to the Engineer for tabu- <br />lation and recommendation. Seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes. <br />The Public Hearing for Water Improvement Project 1965 -3 <br />was held on June 28, 1965. The Project was ordered and the Engineer <br />was directed to prepare final plans and specifications. <br />Motion by Blanchard to adopt Resolution 204 j approving <br />assessments for Sanitary Sewer Improvements nd callir a hearing <br />theron. The Special Assessments have been given preliminary approval <br />and ordered filed in the office of the Clerk <br />Motion by Rustad to allow variance to the building code for <br />Mr. E.C. Larson, Phillips Petroleum allowing an additional 2 square <br />feet for sign construction at County Road H and Highway 10. Second- <br />ed by Blanchard. 4 Ayes <br />Motion by Rustad to send out specs and advertise for bids <br />for new 1966 Squad Car for the Police Department. Bid closing to <br />be October 4, 1965 at 6:30 P.M. The Clerk was directed to advertise. <br />Seconded by La Vague. 4 Ayes. <br />Mr. Malvin arrived at 7 :30 P.M. <br />
