Bid was $7,000.00. Seconded by La Vaque. <br />5 Ayes. <br />The Engineer reported that there would probably be a three <br />week delay in the actual awarding of this contract due to some <br />problems with Chiee Brothers Construction doing work on Silver Lake <br />Road project under the Ramsey County Contract. <br />After complaints from residents regarding the condition of <br />Raymond Avenue due to heavy equipment abuse by National Funds Contractor <br />the Attorney was directed to contact Mr. Foss and inform him that this <br />equipment would no longer be allowed on Village roads. The Engineer <br />was instructed to examine Raymond Avenue for possible serious damage <br />due to this equipment. <br />The Engineer presented the preliminary report <br />Sewer Project 1965 -5, the Long Lake Road Extension. <br />Motion by Blanchard to accept the preliminary <br />Sanitary Sewer Project 1965 -5 and call a public hearing <br />for October 11, 1965 at 9:00 P.M. Seconded by Hodges. <br />for Sanitary <br />report on <br />on the improvement <br />5 Ayes. <br />The Mayor opened the Public Hearing called for this night <br />at 9:00 P.M. Mueller Rezoning. <br />The Clerk read the legal notice published and mailed. Mr. <br />Mueller stated that some of the uses for this land were for a service <br />stations meat market and a dairy store. <br />The Mayor called for objectors and they are as follows: <br />1. Mr.. Joe Walker 2736 County Road H -2 object to service stations. <br />There were no other objectors. <br />Five persons spoke in favor of the proposal. <br />The Mayor closed the hearing 9:25 P.M.. <br />Motion by Malvin to grant the rezoning request for tracts <br />G and F, Register Land Survey 153 and the West 180 feet of Lot 4 <br />Block 1 Mueller Addition. Section 7, Township 30, Range 23 <br />from R -3 to B -3 and R -3 subject to the application and approval <br />of a building permit. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. <br />Mr. E. Drcpps proposal for his property on County Road H -2 <br />was referred to the Planning Commission. <br />Mr.. Rustad read the August Police and Animal Control reports. <br />Mr. Skiba was directed to keep a close check on the replacement <br />of street signs after sewer installation. <br />Mr. La Vague read the water report for August. <br />Motion by La Vaque to send a work order to N.S.P. for <br />a 6000 lumen street light to be installed at the intersection of <br />Sherwood and Johnson Road.
