PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting <br />of the Village Council was called to order by Acting Mayor Rustad <br />at 8:00 P.M., on October 4, 1965 at 2401 Highway 10. <br />PRESENT WERE: <br />Acting Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustee: <br />ABSENT: <br />Mayor: <br />Ingram Rusted <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Charles La Vaque <br />Perry Malvin <br />Donald C. Hodges <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Attorney: Richard Meyers <br />Engineer: Sheldon Boehm <br />The Village received a check from the State of Minnesota <br />for project app. 65 -548 (Disaster Fund) in the amount of $2,505.00. <br />This is 740 of $3,400.00, the requested amount. <br />Motion by Blanchard to authorize the Engineer to instruct <br />C.S. McCrossan, Inc. to finish cleening the Judicial Ditch. <br />(This arose from the May 6th Tornado debris) Seconded by Malvin. <br />4 Ayes. <br />PRECINCT 1 <br />Iva Mae Petron <br />Ilia Mc Cue <br />Mildred Paone <br />Motion by Blanchard to appoint the following election judges: <br />PRECINCT t! 2 PRECINCT 3 <br />Florence I3terson <br />Ruth Sindcrson <br />Marie Goff <br />Ada Sopkowiak <br />Lydia Groth <br />Maxine Benesch <br />Seconded by La Vaque. 4 Ayes. <br />A letter from Ramsey County regarding Tax Forfeit Land <br />was referred to the Attorney. <br />Motion by Blanchard to hire Jeanne Perry at $1.50 per <br />hour effective October 4, 1965. months probation) <br />Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. <br />A letter was received and filed from the Water Pollution <br />Control Commission giving tentat_ve approval to National Funds <br />Mobile Home Park sewage system. <br />A letter was received from Ramsey County approving the <br />construction of County Road H fr;)m Long Lake Road to Highway 10. <br />At G:30 this evening the bids for the Police Department <br />Squad Car were opened and read.(Rustad, Blanchard, La Vaque, Malvin <br />in attendance) The bid will be awarded at the next regular <br />Council meeting. <br />
