PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called <br />to order by Mayor Hodges at 8:00 p.m. on December 27, 1965 at 2401 <br />Highway 10. <br />Present Were: <br />Mayor Donald C. Hodges <br />Clerk Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Trustee Charles D. La Vaque <br />Trustee Perry Malvin <br />Trustee Ingram Rustad <br />Also Present: <br />Engineer: Sheldon Boehm <br />Attorney: Richard Meyers <br />Treasurer: Irene Edberg <br />Public Works: Walter Skiba <br />Deputy Clerk Joanne La Casse <br />Motion by Rustad to approve minutes of regular meeting, December <br />13, 1965. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 ayes. <br />Ingram Rustad, N.S.S.S.D. Representative, reported that the sewer <br />district has changed the amount of the hook -up after the first 90 days <br />from $200.00 to $150.00. <br />Mayor Hodges reported that two rinks are open. The hours are <br />posted and published. <br />Motion by Hodges to hire the following boys far rink attendant <br />at $1.00 per hour, Dennis Carufel, George Jenks, Glen Dawson, Jr., <br />Bill Hanggi, Richard Barry, and Dick Newville.. Seconded by Blanchard. <br />5 ayes. <br />Mr. La Vaque reported that the roads are improving. Sewer is <br />on schedule and should be ready for hook -up January 15, 1966. <br />Motion by La Vaque to abate the following water accounts: <br />Leo Lyte, 2297 Lois Drive 18.00 <br />Nordstrom Odell, 2448 Ridge Lane 6.75 <br />Thor Hanson, 2228 Oakwood 5.00 <br />James Johnson, 5323 Clifton 7.40 <br />Occupant, 5140 Irondale 6.75 <br />Russel Hand, 2185 Lambert 4.90 <br />Seconded by Malvin: 5 -ayes. <br />Motion by La Vaque to increase the salary of Mr. Skiba $30.00 <br />per month effective January 1, 1966. Seconded by Malvin. <br />5 ayes. <br />Thursday. <br />Mr. Rustad reported the following: <br />1. The new police officer is in the car and in uniform. <br />2. The new car has been delivered and will be in service <br />3. John Kardell is back to work. <br />
