Seconded by Lang. 5 ayes. <br />A letter from the Engineer regarding the Sewer Maintenance <br />Equipment Bids that were opened December 27, 1965 was read by S. Boehm. <br />Motion by Blanchard to concur with the recommendation of the <br />Attorney and Engineer and award the bid for a combination front end <br />loader and backhoe to the George T. Ryan Company in the amount of <br />$14,563.00. Seconded by Malvin. 5 ayes. <br />The Attorney recommended the low bid on the dump truck, submitted <br />by Paron Motors be rejected because the bid was not complete. <br />Motion by Malvin to concur with the recommendation of the <br />Attorney and Engineer and award the bid for a 24,000 G.V.W. Dump <br />Truck to Iten Chevrolet in the amount of $4,535.00. Seconded by <br />Johnson. 5 ayes. <br />Motion by Johnson to concur with the recommendation of the Attor- <br />ney and Engineer and award the bid for a sewer rodding machine to Flexi- <br />ble Pipe and Tool Company in the amount of $4,678.20, Seconded by <br />Malvin. 5 ayes. <br />The low bid of Municipal Equipment Company for a rodding machine <br />does not meet the specifications. It was the recommendation of the <br />Engineer to reject the bid. <br />Motion by Rustad to accept the bid of Flexible Pipe and Tool <br />Company for a Bucket Machine in the amount of $3,789.40. Seconded <br />by Johnson. 5 ayes. <br />The Public Hearing for rezoning Lots 111 and 112 except the West <br />125' thereof Spring Lake Park Knolls Addition, Ramsey County subject to <br />5' easement along rear line of property from B2 to R2 was opened by <br />Mayor Rusted at 8:30 p.m. <br />The Clerk read the legal notice and attested to the publishing <br />and mailing. <br />Mr. Dropps explained the proposal. The general location of the <br />property is north of County Road H -2 between Knollwood and Fairchild. <br />
