PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE C)'UNCIL <br />VILLAGE T MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY C"UNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Rustad at 8:00 p.m., January 24, 1966 at <br />the Village Hall, 2401 Highway 10. <br />Present Were: <br />Mayor Ingram C. Rustad <br />Clerk Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Trustee Richard Johnson <br />Gary Lang <br />Perry Malvin <br />Also Present: <br />Attorney Richard Meyers <br />Engineer Sheldon Boehm <br />Deputy Clerk Joanne La Casse <br />Public Works Walter Skiba <br />Motion by Malvin to approve minutes of regular meeting of <br />January 10, 1966. Seconded by Johnson. 5 ayes. <br />Mr. Rustad, N.S.S.S.D. Representative, reported that the <br />Shoreview contract had been let. <br />Board. <br />Mr. Rustad is presently serving as Chairman of the N.S.S.S.D. <br />Motion by Blanchard to allow variances as requested for E. <br />Dropps for Lots 9 through 18 inclusive, Block 3, Mueller Second <br />Addition, allowing 500 feet under square footage requirement from <br />12,500 square feet to 12,000 square feet per lot. Variance requested <br />subject to filing necessary papers and fees. Seconded by Malvin. <br />5 ayes. <br />The Planning Commission minutes were read and filed. A Special <br />joint meeting of the Council and Planning Commission will be held <br />January 31, 1966 at 6 :30 p.m. <br />Motion by Lang to adopt the following salary schedule for the <br />Public Works Department. The Superintendent to reccommend wage <br />change approval each year. Raises are not automatic. <br />General Labor $400.00 per month starting salary <br />420.00 first year <br />440.00 second year <br />460.00 third year <br />480.00 fourth year <br />500.00 fifth year <br />520.00 sixth year <br />All personnel in the Public Works Department are to be directly <br />responsible to Mr. Skiba, Superintendant. Seconded by Rustad. <br />5 ayes. <br />
