Proceedings of the Village Council <br />Village of Mounds View <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting of <br />the Village Council was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Rusted <br />at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway 10, March 21, 1966. <br />Roll Call: <br />Mayor I. C. Rusted <br />Clerk L. J. Blanchard <br />Trustee R. S. Johnson <br />Trustee G. K. Lang <br />Trustee P. Malvin <br />Also Present: <br />Engineer S. Boehm <br />Attorney R. Meyers <br />Fiscal Agent R. Ehlers <br />The Mayor called three times for further bids on Public <br />Improvement Project 1966 -1; there were none and the bidding was <br />closed. The Engineer and Attorney opened and announced the bids <br />is follows: See attached sheet <br />The Mayor called three times for any bids which were submitted <br />and not read. There were none. The apparent low bidder was Northern <br />Contracting Company in the amount of $63,000.00 and $61,000.00. <br />Motion by Blanchard to refer all bids to the Engineer and <br />Attorney for tabulation and recommendation, and have them report <br />at the next regular meeting. Seconded by Rusted. 5 ayes. <br />Motion by Lang to set Public Hearing for rezoning <br />Euz of Lot 11, Block 1, Greenfield Addition <br />from R1 to R2. Hearing to be held on April 11, 1966 at 8:30 p.m. <br />(Requested by E. Gustafson, owner, and approved by the Planning <br />Commission.) Seconded by Blanchard. 5 ayes <br />Request by Robert Eigenheer for rezoning. This was referred <br />to the Planning Commission. <br />Motion by Blanchard to grant preliminary approval to plot <br />plan submitted by Mr. Downing for <br />N of NWM of SW4 of SEW: of Sec. 7, T. 30, R. 23, <br />except the W. 65 feet by 330 feet taken for Silver <br />Lake Road, also except any other part acquired for <br />highway purposes. <br />as recommended by the Planning Commission. Seconded by Lang. <br />5 ayes <br />
