Ron Fagerstrom, Spring Lake Park Fire Department, informed <br />the Council that they felt more hydrants were needed in the <br />Pinewood Area and Lois, Knoll Area. This was referred to the <br />Engineer for study and recommendation <br />Mr. Malvin questioned the possibility of installing load <br />limit signs on- streets as they are completed. <br />Mr. McCubrey presented plans for Freeway 35 -W in Mounds <br />View. <br />Motion by Rustad to adopt Resolutio <br />for 35 -W from existing freeway to North <br />Seconded by Malvin. <br />ccepting plans <br />rate limits. <br />4 ayes. <br />Three of the six property owners benefited by storm sewer <br />on Knollwood were present. They are not in favor of an open <br />ditch. Would prefer conduit for a number of reasons. This <br />is being handled by the Attorney for easements. <br />The Mayor announced that July 7th at 8:00 p.m. there will <br />be a special meeting. <br />At 9:00 the Mayor opened the Public Hearing on Rezoning <br />Lots 106 through 111 Spring Lake Park Hillview Addition. <br />The Deputy Clerk read the legal notice and attested to <br />publishing and mailing of same. Mr. Barth explained plans for <br />the area. A shopping center type building is planned. <br />Mr. Lang reported that the Planning Commission has <br />approved the rezoning. <br />Mayor Rustad called for objectors: <br />Mr. Hillyard Highway #10 would like it to be residental. <br />Mayor Rustad called twice more for objectors. There were <br />no-'e. <br />Mr. Clarence Peterson spoke in favor of the rezoning. <br />The Mayor closed the hearing at 9:15. Motion by Malvin <br />to conditionally rezone Lots 106 through 111 Spring Lake <br />Park Hillview Addition from R -3 to B -3. Seconded by Lang. <br />Rustad Aye, Malvin Aye, Lang Aye, Johnson Aye. <br />Mr. Fritz, 8072 Long Lake Road, raised several questions <br />regarding sewer, water, roads, etc. <br />The Mayor declared Mr. Fritz out of order. When Mr. Fritz <br />refused to recognize the Chairman the meeting was recessed for <br />ten minutes. <br />The meeting was reconvened at 10:55. Mr. Fritz again <br />raised several questions and then thanked the Council for <br />;:heir cooperation and consideration. <br />
