Motion by Malvin to concur with the Engineer's "ecommendation% <br />and award the contract to low bidder for street improvement <br />1966 -6 to C.S. McCrossan in the amount of $121,973,40. <br />Seconded by Johnson. 3 Ayes. <br />The Engineer presented a report on the additional hydrants <br />for the Lois -Knoll Area. This was referred to the next meeting. <br />week. <br />Paving in the Pinewood Area will begin the middle of next <br />Mr. Meyers reported that he has sent a letter to Rothchild <br />regarding the vacant house at 2111 Oakwood Drive. <br />Motion by Johnson to adopt Resolutio <br />to certain lots. Seconded by Malvin. <br />J.E. Burgroff 1856 Spring View Lane <br />H. Shaw 1862 Spring View Lane <br />R. Sabatke 1878 Spring View Lane <br />R. Peek 1871 Spring View Lane <br />R. Nelson 1885 Spring View Lane <br />gaining title <br />3 Ayes. <br />At 9:00 the Acting Mayor opened the Public Hearing for <br />Water Improvement on Spring View Lane. <br />The Clerk read the legal nctice and attested to the publishing <br />and mailing of same. <br />Three benefited property owners spoke in favor of the <br />improvement. <br />The Engineer gave a preliminary report. It is estimated <br />to be $4.65 per front foot and $100.00 per service. <br />The Acting Mayor called for objections and they are as <br />follows: <br />no need <br />no need <br />no need <br />no need <br />no need <br />no need <br />The property at 1878 Spring View Lane needs municipal water. <br />If the 174.5 ft. of the project going North was deleted it would <br />be two against and two for the improvement. <br />A decision will be made at the next regular meeting. <br />The hearing was closed at 9:15 p.m. <br />Complaints were received regarding the dust problem near <br />County Road H. <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve licenses submitted except <br />plumbing contractors. Seconded by Johnson. 3 Ayes. <br />H.tion by Blanchard to abate the taxes on Lot 12, Block 1, <br />Johnson Terrace. This is property owned by the Village. <br />Sec nded by Malvin. 3 Ayes. <br />
