Proceedings of the Village Council <br />Village of Mounds View <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village <br />Council was called to order by Mayor Rustad at 8:00 p.m. <br />on July 25, 1966 at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10. <br />Officials Present: <br />Mayor Ingram Rustad <br />Clerk Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Trustee Perry Malvin.. <br />Trustee Gary Lang <br />Trustee Richard Johnson <br />Also Present: <br />Engineer <br />Shelly Boehm <br />Mr. Ferguson presented an application for a house <br />moving permit. <br />Motion by Rustad to set a Public Hearing for House <br />Moving. Hearing to be held August 8, 1966 at 8:30 p.m. <br />Seconded by Johnson. 5 Ayes <br />The Spring View Lane Water Improvement Project was <br />discussed. <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve the water project <br />327 feet West of Knollwood Drive. Seconded by Malvin. <br />3 Ayes. <br />(Rustad, Blanchard, Malvin, Aye; Johnson, Lang, Naye) <br />The Knoll Drive Road Improvement was again discussed <br />and Mr. Lang and Engineer Boehm were directed to meet <br />with homeowners on the site on Tuesday, July 26 at 8:00 <br />a.m. and settle the matter so that the road could be <br />completed. <br />The Mayor announced that the Village Officials are <br />invited to participate in the Ramsey County Fair Parade <br />to be held July 27, 1966. <br />The Engineer was directed to make available a work <br />schedule of the various road projects in the Village. <br />The question of raises for the maintenance department <br />was discussed. The policy as set previously is to have <br />a six month probation period and the first raise will be <br />considered after the first of the year. <br />The Building Inspector recommended a delay on the <br />variance request of Mr. D. Hanson for an extension to <br />the front of his house. <br />
