Proceedings of the Villagc Council <br />Village of Mounds View <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Rusted at 8:00 p.m. on August 22, 1966 <br />at the Village Hall 2401 Highway 10. <br />Officials Present: <br />Mayor Ingram C. Rustad <br />Trustee Richard Johnson <br />Trustee Perry Malvin <br />Trustee Gary Lang <br />Also Present: <br />Deputy Clerk <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Absent: <br />Clerk <br />Joanne La Casse <br />Richard Meyers <br />Eldon Comstock <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Motion by Malvin to approve the minutes <br />as presented. Seconded by Lang. <br />Motion by Johnson to approve the minutes <br />as presented. Seconded by Malvin. <br />of August 8, 1966 <br />4 Ayes <br />of August 15, 1966 <br />4 Ayes <br />Mr. John Robertus who lives at the intersection of Co. <br />Rd. H and Silver Lake Road requested "Speed Limit" signs on <br />Silver Lake Road. He was informed that this was a County road. <br />The Clerk's office was directed to send a letter to Ramsey County <br />requesting them to install signs. He also asked who was the <br />Engineer for the sewer project on Co. Rd. H. He was informed to <br />call Dick Sha at Midland Consultants. <br />Mr. Wilken 2283 Knoll Drive questioned the width of village <br />streets. He informed the Council that Knoll Drive varies from <br />28 29 at the widest point in front of his home by his measure- <br />ment. He informed the Council of the terrible condition that the <br />Hillview Apartments are in. The home on LaPort that has had tar <br />paper on it since December. The apartments on the north end of <br />Quincy are deteriorating. Referred to Dick Johnson. <br />Mrs. Florence Peterson 2277 Knoll Drive wanted to know <br />when the torn up boulevard would be replaced and the patio blocks <br />replaced in cement on the edge of her drive. Mr. Comstock informed <br />her that they are starting work behind the curb in the Pinewood <br />area and will proceed the same as the installation of streets. <br />A resident from 5467 Quincy Street was referred to the Engineer <br />regarding his driveway grade. <br />Mr. Robertus was informed to contact Mr. Harold Wilken of <br />Ramsey County regarding the grade of his driveway to Silver Lake Road. <br />
