PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE 'F MlU DS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Persuant to due call and motice thereof a special meeting <br />of the Village Council was called to order by Mayor Rustad at <br />6:40 P.M. bn Novembei :21,11966. <br />Officials Present: <br />Mayor oIngram Rustad <br />Claerk Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Trustee Perry Malvin <br />Trustee Gary Lang <br />Trustee Richard Johnson <br />Also Present <br />Engineer <br />Chief of Police <br />Public Works <br />Civil Service Commission <br />Sheldon Boehm <br />Ernest Grabowski <br />Walter Skiba <br />Allen Dawson <br />Don. Schaffhausen <br />Lowell Uber <br />Attorney Richard Meyers <br />The Engineer presented a report for the extension of sewer <br />and water into Mounds View Section 17: This was read and discus -sc. <br />by the Councill Motion by Blanchard to accept the preliminary <br />report. Seconded by Johnson. 5 Ayes. <br />The Clerk's 9ffice was directed to refer all future lot <br />split- applidetioti rte Engineer for determination of assessmen <br />liability. <br />The Engineer presented copies f the proposed future street <br />plan in the Northwest corner of the Village for Council study. <br />The Engineer presented a letter to the Council froggy Peter <br />Lametti Company regarding excess costs of construction due to <br />poor soil conditions. The Engineer feels the Village is not <br />liable. This matter was referred to the Attorney for deni 1 rf <br />claim. <br />Motion by Johnson to grant the lot split to Mr. C. Seberg <br />at 7555 Knollwood as requested subject to filing papers and payi- <br />fees. Seconded by Lang. 5 Ayes. <br />The Attorney was directed to check street opening repair <br />ordinance. <br />The "preliminary report for the extension of Jackson, South <br />of County Road I was presented. Motion by Blanchard to accept <br />preliminary report. Seconded by Johnson. 5 Ayes. <br />The Engineer'was directed to contact any homeowners involve_: <br />in off center locations of streets in the C -1 Area. <br />The Council advised the Police Dommission to wait untill <br />after the first of the year to present a new eligability list. <br />Motion by Blanchard to place Patrolman George Katseris <br />on full time status effective November 1, 1966. Seconded by <br />Johnson. 5 Ayes. <br />The Clerk's Office was directed to obtain a wage chart fo_ <br />Police Employees from the League of Minnesota Municipalities ar., <br />turn it over to the Police Commission. <br />Motion by Blanchard to adjourn.
