PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE C 1JNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW .RAMSEY C1UNTY, MINNESOTA The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Acting Mayor Malvin at 8:OOP.M. on November 28, 1966 at the Village Hall -2401 Highway 10. Officials Present: Acting Mayor Perry Malvin Clerk Lloyd J. Blanchard Trustee Gary Lang Also Present: Engineer Shelly Boehm Attorney Richard Meyers Treasurer Irene Edberg Public Works Walter Skiba Absent Mayor Ingram C. Rusted Trustee Richard Johnson Motion by Lang to accept the minutes of Mvember 14, 1966 as presented. Seconded by Malvin. 3 Ayes. Motion by Malvin to accept the minutes of N vember 21, 1966 as presented. Seconded by Lang. 3 Ayes. The Planning Commission minutes were read and filed. Motion by Lang to set public hearing for Eigenheer Builders for rezoning on December 12, 1966 at 9:00 P.M. Seconded by Malvin. 3 Ayes. Residents of the Pinewood Area complained about the dog problems. The B.& E Patrol will be directed to do extra patroling in the major problem areas pendimkg investigation by Gary Lang. The Building Inspector was instructed to proceed with the necessary steps to have the old buildings Arden Avenue removed. The Attorney presented resolutions for abating assessments on street right of ways. Motion by Lang to adopt Resolution #266 authorizing the Clerk to sign application for relief abating certan assessments. Seconded by Malvin. 3 Ayes, The Clerk's Office was directed to contact Mark Heud Company Construction for cost of aerial maps of Mounds View. Future road plans were explained by the Engineer. The Engineer explained preliminary plans for Sanitary Sewer Area E (Section 17) the Southeast corner of the Village. Motion by Malvin to accept preliminary report for the above and to hold a public hearing on the matter on January ].,1967 at 7:00 P.M. Seconded by Lang. 3 Ayes, Motion by Blanchard to pay bills submitted totalling Seconded by Malvin. 3 Ayes. Motion by Blanchard to approve licenses submitted. (list attached) Seconded by Lang. 3 Ayes. Motion by Blanchard to approve appointment for hall rental at $11.00 for Mrs Wyatt on DPc.1B,1966. Seconded by Lang. 3 Ayes. Motion by Blanchard tc authorize the Engineer to attend the Ramsey C Engineer's Meeting with regards to road replacement after Village Services construction. Seconded by Malvin. 3 Ayes. Motion by Blanchard to accept with regret the resignation of J -anne LaCasse effective December 16, 1966. Seconded by Malvin. 3 Ayes. Motion by Blanchard to appoint Marilyn Lidberg Deputy Clerk and increase her pay to $2.00 per hour effective December 19, 1966.
