PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />MARCH 13, 1967 <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Rustad at 8:00 P. M. on Monday, March 13, 1967 at the Village Hall, <br />2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota, 55112. <br />Present <br />1. C. Rusted, Mayor <br />Robert Walser, Clerk <br />Perry Malvin, Trustee <br />Gary Lang, Trustee <br />Richard Johnson, Trustee <br />Also Present <br />Sheldon Boehm, Engineer <br />Richard Meyers, Attorney <br />M /S /P (Johnson /Lang) To approve the minutes of the regular meeting of <br />February 27, 1967. <br />5 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Malvin) To approve the minutes of the two hearings held <br />March 1, 1967. 4 Ayes Lang Abstaining <br />M /S /P (RustadiJohnson) To approve the minutes of the special meeting of <br />March 6, 1967. <br />Mr. Don Haes requested an additional $500.00 for the Lakeside Park budget <br />to match funds with Spring Lake Park Village to provide funds necessary to <br />treat all of Spring Lake. <br />M /S /P (Malvin /Rustad) To provide $500.00 for control of snails in Spring <br />Lake. 5 Ayes <br />Representative of Sunnyside Petitioners for parking control explained the <br />need for parking restrictions. The Village will enforce a two hour ban: <br />Mr. Skiba was directed to request that Jim Schlichtmann attend the meeting <br />with the new County Weed Inspector. He will be paid for this time: <br />A letter from Police Chief Ernie Grabowski requesting street lighting at <br />Edgewood and LaPorte was read. <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Malvin) To install street lighting at Edgewood and LaPorte. <br />5 Ayes <br />M /S /P/ (Walser /Rustad) To approve Bills represented by check numbers 851 <br />through 897, 3094 through 3110, 898 and 899. 5 Ayes <br />Check number 897 is for street maintenance and street lighting. <br />The teen dance previously approved for March 17 in the Village Hall, will <br />be held March 24 instead. No objection from the Council. <br />
