PROCEEDINGS r1F THE VILLAGE C ^.UNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MIJNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />MAY 8, 1967 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to <br />order by Mayor Rustad at 8 :00 P.M. On Monday, May 8, 1967, at the <br />Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />PRESENT ALSO PRESENT <br />I. C. Rustad, Mayor Sheldon Blehn, Engineer <br />Robert Walser, Clerk Richard Meyers, Attorney <br />Gary Lang, Trustee <br />Richard Johnson, Trustee <br />Perry Malvin Trustee <br />M/S /P (Johnson/Rusted) To approve minutes of April 10,1967 5 Ayes <br />Approval of April 24, 1967 minutes deferred. <br />Mayor Rustad reported that Representative Savakoul has indicated that <br />a study of traffic control problems in MLunds View is being conducted. <br />This includes additional stop signs speed zone signs on Silver Lake <br />Road Cty.Rd. H. <br />Mayor Rustad announced that the Junior Sheriffs Picnic will be held <br />on Tues. May 16, 1967. <br />M/S /P (Walser/Rustad) To accept the resignation of Barbara Johnson <br />offec May 15, 1967 and to authorize her employment on a part <br />time basis, as needed, as a clerk- typist at a rate of $1.80 /hour. <br />5 Ayes <br />M/S /P (Walser /Malvin) To approve Licenses as per the attached list. <br />5 Ayes <br />M/S /P (Walser /Lang) To approve Resolutions #302, 303 8.304 which are <br />lot splits for tax apportionment purposes. 5 Ayes <br />i'S /P (Walser /Johnson) To approve Resolution 305 to corrdct <br />assessment for Samuel J. Belisle in D.P. 56 5 Ayes <br />io-' /S /P (Walser /Johnson) To approve the hiring of Dorothy Sandgren <br />Dale Jones as clerk- typists for the Village 'lffice at $1.80 <br />hour for a three month probation period, $190 hour for the next <br />three month period, and at a rate of $2.00 /hour after six months <br />of service. 5 Ayes <br />M/S /P (Walser/Rustad) To authorize payment of bills as represented <br />b; check numbers 3173 through 3191, 1001 through 1053, 973 and 405. <br />.a•; c s <br />:Walser/Rustad) To Authorize Sunrise Methodist Church to place <br />i sign along Highway #10 on the west end of the Village Park property. <br />5 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Johnson/ Malvin) To install street lights as requested in <br />residents petitions at the corner of Bona Rd and Woodale Drive and <br />a the corner of Edgewood Dr. and Hillview Dr. 5 Ayes <br />
