Present: <br />Mayor Rusted <br />Clerk Walser <br />Trustee Johnson <br />Trustee Lang <br />Trustee Malvin <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY MINNESOTA <br />December 11, 1967 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called <br />to order by Mayor Ruetad at 8:00;P.M. on Monday, December 11, 1967 <br />at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Also Present: <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Boehm <br />Mr. Ehlers commented on current trends in the bond market and advised <br />the council that five bids had been received for the $250,000 improvement <br />bonds and the $140,000 MSA Street bonds offered by the Village. <br />Bids were opened and recorded: <br />Name Interest Net Rate <br />1 Allison Williams Company 192,225.00 5.045 <br />2 Juran Moody, Inc 194,456.60 5.1038 <br />3 American National 'lank Trust Co.194,502.25 5.105 <br />4 First National Ban': of St. Paul 194,790.00 5.11259 <br />5 Ebin, Robertson .o. 200,690.00 5.2674 <br />A discussion of the btis and a comparison with others recently sold <br />indicated that the 5.C45% rate bid by Allison Williams Company was <br />the lowest bid and co--sistant with the market. <br />The fiscal agent, Mr. Shlers, recommends acceptance of the lowest bid. <br />M /S /P (Rustad/Walser) To approve Resolution #351 awarding the bid <br />to Allison Williams Company. 5 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Rusted /Johnson) To approve Resolution #352 authorizing the <br />issuance of the bonds. 5 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Austad /Lang) To approve Resolution #353 establishing form and <br />detail for MSA Street Bonds. 5 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Malvin /Lang) To approve minutes of November 27, 1067. 5 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Malvin /Johnson) To allow the Boy Scout Troop #167 to use the <br />hall for refreshments after Christmas caroling Tuesday, December 19th. <br />Mayor Rusted announced that Fran Mueller has resigned from the Youth <br />Activities Committee. The Mayor thanked her and others for all of the <br />work they have done for the Youth of the community. <br />M /S /P (Walser /Lang) To approve the License for Random, Inc. 5 Ayes <br />
