The Regular Meeting of thi Mounds View Village Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Rusted at 8 :00 P.M. on Monday, March 25, 1968, at the Village Hall, <br />2401 Highway #10 tit. Paul, Minnesota 5i11'J. <br />Present.: <br />Ma of R <br />Cleri. Walser <br />Lrustep Johnson <br />Truste, Malvin <br />Trustee Lang <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />March 25, 1968 <br />Also Present: <br />Engineer Boehm <br />Attnrne" Meyers <br />14 /S /P (Lang /Johnson) To approve the minutes of the March 11, ?968 Meeting 5 Ayes <br />A representative of Highland Taxi Questioned taxi -cab licensing in Mounds <br />View, They were advised that no license Is needed. <br />A petition requesting stop signs at the intersection of Greenfield Place and <br />Greenfield Avenue was read. It was referred to the Police Department for <br />review and recommendation. <br />AlS /P (Johnson /Lang) Tn conditionally approve the Dropps rezoning as requested <br />At the hearing of March 11, 1968. 5 A <br />W. Werner, Chairman of the airport petition committee, reported on the progress <br />at the committee. He considers the MAC hearing time and place as being unsuitable <br />11nd,suggested a resolution he adopted requesting the meeting to be held in _the <br />north suburban area. <br />The Mf'yor suggested the Council discuss this at the agenda meeting next week. <br />Mayor Rusted read the minutes of the March 19th Planning Commission meeting. <br />Hr. £igenheer's request for RI to 83 and Rl to B3 rezoning Lots 1 2, Block 5 <br />Elgenheer's Second Addition, was discussed. <br />M /S.P (Rustad /Lang) To set a hearing for April 8, 1968, at 8:30 P.M. on the 5 Ayes <br />Eiganhaer request for rezoning. <br />The Sussel L:arage request for a variance at 8333 Croveland Road was discussed. <br />M /SJP (Malvin /Lang) To approve Sussel variance requested at 8333 Groveland Rd. 5 Ayes <br />The subdivision request of Ralph Lund at 7701 Woodlawn was discussed. The <br />engineer was directed to check on assessments first. <br />H /S.P (Walser /Rustad) To approve the following licenses: Concrete Contractor, <br />Barry Bjugstad, Excavating Contractor Theisen Sons, Gasoline Station <br />Mermaid Skelly, Cigarette license Mermaid Skelly, General Contractors American 5 Ayes <br />Builders, James R. Lund and McCall Company. <br />M /S /P (Walser /Johnson) To approve payment of bills as represented by <br />checks numbered 2284 -2318 (General) and checks numbered 185 -208 (Payroll) <br />5 Ayes <br />
