PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />May 13, 1968 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Rustad at 8:05 P.M. on Monday, May 13, 1968, at the Village Hall, 2401 <br />Highway 10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: <br />Mayor Rustad <br />Clerk Walser <br />Trustee Johnson <br />Trustee Malvin <br />Trustee Lang <br />(Lang /Johnson) To approve the minutes of <br />M /S /P (Johnson /Malvin) To approve the minutes <br />Wa1ly;Wilson of the Spring Lake Park Lions Club <br />a carnival in =Mounds View on the land bordered <br />Road H2 and Silver Lake Road June 19 23. The <br />agenda meeting. Mr. Hayward, Blaine VFW, wants <br />sales at the carnival on Saturday and Sunday. <br />Ay <br />Also Present: <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Boehm <br />April 22nd. <br />of April 26th. <br />requested permission to conduct <br />by TH #10, Long Lake Road, County <br />Council will review this at the <br />the Council's permission for beer <br />Wayne Mecl, 6969 Knollwood Drive, wished to have a letter stating the north half <br />of his lot (S 1/2 of Lot 103 Knollwood Park Addition) was a buildable lot before <br />it was condemned by NSSSD for the interceptor line. Since it was assessed on the <br />201 foot side, a letter will be sent to Attorney Meyers stating it was considered <br />a buildable lot. <br />Mr. `D.'Wahl of Colonial Village Mobile Home Park presented a check from the <br />Highway Department with the Village named therein and requested it be signed <br />and returned to him since all assessments are paid. <br />M /S /P (Malvin /Lang) To authorize the Mayor and the Clerk to sign the check <br />for Colonial Village Mobile Homes. <br />A letter will be prepared to FHA for Mr. Dahl, 2909 Glenwood, Minneapolis, Minn. <br />55405, indicating that Quincy and Hillview are Village streets and that they <br />will be maintained. <br />Mr. Werner thanked the Council for their MAC activity and interest and suggested <br />further points of continuing concern. <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Walser) To purchase a transcript of the MAC hearings. <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />John Sadlowsky requested a garage variance at 5072 Brighton Lane. <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Malvin) To approve the side set back variance at 5072 Brighton <br />Lane. 5 Ayes <br />A resident stated that parking on Oakwood by the park during ball games creates <br />a safety problem. Trustee Johnson will have the Police check it out. <br />The TOPS Club requested use of the Village Hall for a dance on May 24th. The <br />Council will permit the use subl to normal conditions. <br />
