PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />June 24, 1968 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Rustad at 8 :03 P.M. on Monday, June 24, 1968, at the Village Hall, 2401 <br />Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: <br />Mayor Rusted <br />Councilman Malvin <br />Councilman Johnson <br />Councilman Lang <br />Absent: <br />Clerk Walser <br />Also Present: <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Boehm <br />Deputy Clerk Zylla <br />M /S /P (Johnson /Malvin) To approve the June 10th regular minutes. 3 Ayes <br />Councilman Lang Abstain <br />Residents requests: <br />Peter Barna, attorney for Bernard Iblings, sought to obtain a change in zoning <br />of 7373 Knollwood Drive from RI to R2. Records of 1958 show Mr. Iblings requested <br />the rezoning but no formal action was taken. Mr. Barna stated that he would have <br />the abstract in and pay the fee if Council would set the hearing. <br />M /S /P (Rustad/Malvin) To set rezoning hearing of 7373 Knollwood Drive for <br />July 8th, 1968 at 8:30 P.M. <br />Merwin Barth presented the final plat for Barth Wakiriak Addition. <br />M /S /P (Malvin /Lang) To approve Barth Wakiriak final plat and to authorize the <br />Mayor and the Clerk to sign it. 4 Ayes <br />Anthony Holschuh presented preliminary plat for Holschuh 1st Addition. Seven <br />lots on west side of Eastwood between Woodcrest and Woodale. <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Johnson) To approve the preliminary plat for Holschuh 1st <br />Addition. <br />Mr. William Werner gave a brief report on the MAC hearing in Anoka. Council will <br />purchase transcript. <br />M /S /P (Rustad/Johnson) To grant a 90 day renewal of the building permit for <br />Colonial Village Mobile Homes. 4 Ayes <br />Mayor Rusted acknowledged letter from the North Suburban Residents Incorporated, <br />and the Department of Human Rights. <br />4 Ayes <br />4 Ayes <br />Mayor Rustad read the Planning Commission minutes of June 18, 1968. <br />M /S /P (Malvin /Johnson) To approve subdivision and variance for Robert DeGardner, <br />N' of Lot 42 Auditor Subdivision #89. 4 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Malvin /Lang) To approve variance to six feet for attached garage for <br />Natalie Hope, 2249 Lambert, subject to payment of fee. 4 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Lang) To approve variance to seven feet for attached garage for <br />Robert Sack at 5133 Red Oak Drive. 4 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Lang) To approve variance to five feet for Perry Malvin for <br />E 100' of W 534' of the S 215' of SW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Section 8, subject to <br />payment of fee. 4 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Johnson) To approve General checks 2479 -2517 except 2510, and <br />Payroll checks 318 -345, check 338 voided. 4 Ayes <br />
