Present: <br />Mayor Rustad <br />Councilman Malvin <br />Councilman Johnson <br />Councilman Lang <br />Absent: <br />Clerk Walser <br />Clerk Walser arrived at 8:10 P.M. <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />July 22, 1968 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Rustad at 8:00 P.M. on Monday July 22, 1968, at the Village Hall, 2401 <br />Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Also Present: <br />Deputy Clerk Zylla <br />Engineer Boehm <br />Attorney Meyers <br />M /S /P (Johnson /Lang) To approve the minutes of July 8, 1968. <br />M /S /P (Lang /Malvin) To approve the minutes of July 15, 1968. <br />Residents requests and comments: <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Malvin) To authorize NSP to install a street light in the middle <br />of the 2200 block on Pinewood between Jackson and Quincy. A petition was received. <br />Ralph Edberg and Dale Bentley would like to have the property at 7869 Greenwood Drive <br />cleaned up, the houselpainted, and the septic tank system inspected. Police will <br />check septic system and the Clerks office will write First Federal Savings and Loan <br />to bring this matter to their attention. <br />Mr. Arthur Attleson questioned the subdivision of Lots 108 and 109 Knollwood Park <br />Addition and the assessment apportionment thereof. The Council discussed the <br />development of all portions of this property. <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Lang) to approve the subdivision of the S 100' of Lots 108 and 109 <br />Knollwood Park Additi on for A. Attleson subject to the payment of fees. 5 Ayes <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Malvin) To approve the subdivision of the E 185' of Lot 83 Knollwood <br />Park Addition for Ed Dropps Jr., subject to the payment of all addition assessments. 5 Ayes <br />Mrs. Florence Peterson requested that a trailer house located at 2250 Knoll Drive <br />be removed since she is selling her home and the trailer is an objectionable sight <br />to a potential purchaser. <br />Mr. Ralph Edberg asked about the care of the unimproved portion of Greenwood Drive <br />north of County Road 1. The County will take care of it this fall. <br />Mr. Lloyd Blanchard inquired about the trailer at Silver Lake Road and Highway 10. <br />The Clerk's office will check on it. <br />Mr. Varnes requested that the Minar property be cleaned of dead trees and brush. <br />The Clerk's office will write a letter to Mr. Minar. <br />
