Councilman Johnson's Report <br />Attorney Meyer's Report <br />3 <br />Clerk Walser spoke briefly on how pleased he was to be associated with the Council <br />and the community and how he had enjoyed working with everyone. He then endorsed <br />Dennis Zylla, the deputy clerk for the position of clerk administrator January 1st <br />when the Village goes to Optional Plan A. <br />M /S /P (Johnson /Malvin) To raise the salary of patrolman Ted Nemetz $25.00 per <br />month retroactive to July 1, the end of the six month probationary period. 5 Ayes, <br />The B E report for June was read. <br />Councilman Lan 's Report <br />Councilman Lang reinterated the Council feeling that the Highway 10 by -pass be <br />removed and the park restored to its original condition. <br />Inspector's Report <br />Chris Piehowski commented on the possible condemnation of 8295 Edgewood Drive. <br />Attorney suggested a registered letter be sent to Sigurd Buck requesting his <br />presence at the next meeting to discuss this matter. <br />Attorney Meyers read a letter received regarding legal action against Chies Bros. <br />Construction Company. Attorney and Engineer will check the necessary records <br />to see if we may be involved. <br />HUD Water Improvement Project 1968 -3 was discussed. <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Johnson) To order Water Improvement Project 1968 -3. <br />(WS -4 -24 -0045) <br />M /S /P (Malvin /Lang) To direct the Engineer to prepare the final plans and <br />specifications for Improvement Proiect 1968 -3 Schedule A. <br />Attorney reported that the Watson property assessments have been upheld by the <br />courts. <br />Assessment abatement for Hardwell and Kreugen was discussed and tabled. <br />Proposed Ordinance 152 read by the Attorney. <br />M /S /P (Rustad /Lang) To approve Ordinance 152 establishing a utilities operating <br />fund. <br />Proposed Ordinance 153 read by the Attorney. <br />M /S /P (Johnson /Rustad) To approve Ordinance 153 amending the zoning Ordinance 67, <br />rezoning certain lands in the Village. 5 Ayes <br />A special use permit for the Mounds View Mobile Home Park will be checked on by the <br />office. <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />
