4 <br />Councilman Blanchard stated that many times a project may cost him votes <br />personally but that he feels that he also should always act in the best <br />interests of the community. <br />Councilman Hodges stated that in the area there was spot rezoning now but he <br />asked if this is the right place for the development proposed. <br />Councilman Johnson stated that he could not see the development in the area <br />which it is in at the present time. <br />Councilman Malvin asked about the commitment which Red Owl was supposed to <br />have made to Mr. Gustafson. Councilman Malvin stated that it seemed any <br />developer that appeared with plans for a shopping center had received <br />tentative approval from Red Owl. <br />MSP (Johnson /Blanchard) To deny the zoning request as petitioned. 5 Ayes <br />Attorney Meyers was given approval to attend a recreation meeting on <br />December 10th at which possible federal assistance for park development <br />would be discussed. <br />MSP (Blanchard /Hodges) To adjourn at 9:08 P.M. <br />espectfully Submitted, <br />Dennis S.
