3 <br />Russell Pahl inquired as to necessity of the stop sign at Greenwood and Hillview <br />since he has not seen any children crossing at the sign since they have been <br />installed. Mayor Rustad informed Mr. Pahl that there were children crossing <br />there though not all the time, in fact, school buses stop at that intersection, <br />and our Police Department had recommended the installation of a sign there for <br />some good reason. <br />Attorney Meyers' Report <br />MSP (Blanchard /Malvin) To approve the adoption of a uniform Ramsey County <br />Curfew Ordinance and repealing Ordinance #57. <br />MSP (Rustad /Blanchard) To approve Resolution #470 authorizing the Mayor and <br />Clerk to execute the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer District supplemental use <br />agreement with the Village of Mounds View. Councilman Blanchard, Mounds View <br />NSSSD representative was directedoto introduce Mounds View amendments at the <br />hearing December 23rd at 7:30 P.M. at the Blaine City Hall. <br />Attorney Meyers informed the Council that the condemnation hearings on Project <br />1968 -3 would start January 6th and possibly be held every Tuesday and Thursday <br />at 10:00 A.M. <br />Attorney Meyers also announced that he had heard nothing from the 49'er Union <br />and nothing from Superior 400 about the easement on their property. <br />Engineer Boehm's Report <br />Engineer Boehm reported that he had received a letter from the State Highway <br />Department in which they had agreed to extending the 8 inch Mounds View sewer <br />across the highway right -of -way at the State Highway Department's cost. This <br />extension is ldcated on Edgewood Drive. <br />Engineer Boehm also stated that he had received a letter requesting various <br />resolutions on municipal state aid streets at the earliest possible date. <br />Engineer Boehm gave a progress report on Project 1968 -3. <br />It was agreed that the school district office should be notified that there have <br />been various complaints in the area of Red Oak School regarding early morning <br />pi ^wing.
