Via%
Attorney Meyers' Report
Attorney Meyers called the Council's attention to a future street location
study which was prepared by the engineer. He stated that we are still trying
to pick up easements whenever possible.
MSP (Blanchard /Hodges) To approve Resolution #474 establishing a residential
equivalent connection and use charges for the Mounds View sanitary sewer system
pursuant to Mounds View Ordinance #128.110.
Attorney Meyers stated that condemnation hearings were being held on Tuesdays
and Thursdays. He also announced that a law suit of Robert Robinson versus
the Launching Pad and the Village of Mounds View was settled in which the
Village of Mounds View will be requested to pay $100 damages.
Engineer Boehm's Report
5
Engineer Boehm stated that the HUD project involved the installation of metering
stations at the interconnection with New Brighton and Fridley. New Brighton
has suggested eliminating the stations and saving approximately $1,600 each.
Fridley hasn't acted yet but Mr. Boehm felt that it would be in the best
interests for the Council to decide to eliminate the station too since the
cost savings of eliminating the stations would outweigh the money spent trying
to determine the amount of water used in the event of an emergency.
Engineer Boehm also reported that one well on Edgewood and Bronson was nearing
completion but there were no results yet, though he expected the well to pump
approximately 1,000 gallons per minute.
MSP (Blanchard /Hodges) To adjourn at 9:46 P.M.
Respectfully Submitted,
.044 A
Dennis S. Zyl
Clerk- Administrator
5 Ayes
