PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNL, <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />January 26, 1970 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by <br />Acting Mayor Malvin at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, January 26, 1970, at the Village <br />Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: <br />Acting Mayor Malvin <br />Councilman Hodges <br />Councilman Blanchard <br />Councilman Neisen <br />Absent: <br />Also Present: <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Boehm <br />Mayor Rustad <br />MSP (Hodges /Blanchard) To approve the minutes of January 12th, 1970. <br />Acting Mayor Malvin's Report <br />Acting Mayor Malvin announced Mayor Rustad's remaining committee appointments <br />which are as follows: Industrial Development Committee Richard Schoenhardt- <br />5170 Bona Road, Chris Piehowski -2259 Pinewood Drive, Howard Neisen -5150 Irondale <br />Road, Stuart Rothgeber -5200 Greenfield Avenue, Charles Jaeger, 1955 Bronson <br />Drive,and Irvin Herbst -8180 Eastwood Road, and to the Human Rights Commission <br />Susan Hammond -8071 Long Lake Road. <br />4 Ayes <br />MSP (Malvin /Blanchard) To allow one policeman to attend the Juvenile Officers <br />Institute seminar on juvenile drug abuse February 24 -26 at the Leamington Hotel, <br />and to pay the $30.00 registration fee. 4 Ayes <br />MSP (Malvin /Hodges) To raise the salary of Clerk- Administrator Dennis Zylla <br />to $910.00 per month plus $14.05 health and life insurance adjusted to <br />January 1, 1970. 4 Ayes <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla's Report <br />MSP (Blanchard /Malvin) To approve the following licenses: Cigarette Superior <br />Music Company for Bob's 66 Service, General Contractor Bennis Construction <br />Company, Heating Cranstrom's Heating, and Sewer and Water M. M. Kircher. 4 Ayes <br />MSP (Blanchard /Neisen) To approve the following bills: General Check #s <br />3879 -3916 and Payroll Check #s 1253 -1287. Total Disbursements $26,498.18. 4 Ayes <br />Some discussion ensued over check #3910 at which time it was noted that the <br />$6,150.00 offer was made over one year ago, and even though the Village may <br />be able to obtain the land under condemnation in an upcoming plat, the <br />Council felt the good faith offer should be upheld. <br />MSP (Hodges /Malvin) To approve Resolution #476 abating certain assessments <br />on Division #41146. 4 Ayes <br />
