PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />MAY 25, 1970 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Rustad at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, May 25, 1970, at the Village Hall, 2401 <br />Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: <br />Mayor Rustad <br />Councilman Malvin <br />Councilman Blanchard <br />Councilman Neisen <br />Absent: <br />Also Present: <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Boehm <br />Councilman Hodges <br />MSP (Neisen /Blanchard) To approve the minutes of May 11, 1970. 4 Ayes <br />Residents Requests and Comments: <br />Joe Strangis, of Preferred Builders, requested a variance to construct 40 <br />apartment units on the S 135.6' of Lot 83 and all of Lots 81 and 82 Spring <br />Lake Park Hillview Addition. <br />MSP (Malvin /Neisen) To grant a variance to Preferred Builders to construct <br />40 units on the above mentioned property. <br />Ray Gifford requested that the Council tighten up the mobile home ordinance <br />restrictions. <br />Mayor Rustad stated that there probably would not be another hearing for <br />some time if at all. Attorney Meyers suggested that maybe the Planning <br />Commission should make the changes. <br />James Neardahl inquired as to whether the petitioners could return in six months. <br />(REFto PBK Investment hearing cancelled) Attorney Meyers stated six month delay <br />only pertained to denials. <br />Mayor Rustad's Report <br />Mayor Rustad read the Planning Commission minutes of May 19th. <br />Mayor Rustad mentioned that the Industrial Profile was complete. <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla'_ R ,,r <br />MSP (Blanchard /Malvin) To approve the following licenses: General Contractor <br />Inter City Builders, Hoyt Cors truction, Swenson Building, David Clurry Home <br />Builder, United Excavating Company, Glenn Rehbein Excavating, Inc.; On -Sale <br />Intoxicating Liquor, Restaurant, Sunday Liquor Anthony Donatelle d /b /a <br />Donatelle's Supper Club, (On -Sale Liquor 1 year), Robert H. Waste Gerald <br />H. Waste d /b /a Launching Pad Supper Club, Bennett Goldberg Burton Rozman <br />d /b /a Mermaid Cocktail Lounge; Off -Sale Intoxicating Liquor Anthony Donatelle <br />d /b /a Donatelle's Supper Club, Simon T. Simon d /b /a Simon's Liquor Store, <br />Rita Waste d /b /a B R Liquor Store, Bennett Goldberg Burton Rozman d /b /a <br />Mermaid Cocktail Lounge; Cabaret Donatelle's Supper Club, Mermaid Cocktail <br />Lounge and Dance Bel -Rae Ballroom. <br />4 Ayes <br />4 Aves <br />
