PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />71',1,AsE OF MOJND3 VIEW <br />RA4SNY COUNTY, MIN1dESOTA <br />September 14, 1970 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order uT <br />fiw ;r,�r R_.;atad at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, September 14, 1970, at the Village Hall, <br />2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: <br />Mayor Rustad <br />Councilman Malvin <br />Councilman Hodges <br />Councilman Blanchard <br />Councilman Neisen <br />MSP (Malvin /Blanchard) To approve the minutes of August 24, 1970. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Nelsen/Hodges) To issue a building permit for a modular home to Paul <br />Crandall Jr. at 2766 Sherwood Road rescinding the permit issued to Richard <br />Koskinen, 2039 Woodale, on July 27th. 5 Ayes <br />Manor Rustad's Report <br />Mayor Rusted presented to Attorney Meyers a copy of an explosive control ordinance <br />received from the State Attorney General's Office. <br />Clerk Administrator Zrlla's Report <br />MSP (Rustad/Malvin) To approve the following 1i.:ten,^da: Commercial Kennel <br />Margaret J. Veno, d /b /a Sham -O-Jet Kennel; General Contractor Lumber pang <br />Company and Sinco Construction, Inc. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Blanchard/Hodges) To approve the follo14ing bit!_3 excluding check #4439: <br />General Check #44.05 -4459, Payroll Check #1639 -1662 WS- INN -45 Check !f044. -050 <br />and Bond Check #587. Total Disbursements $1.4.,1g)0.44. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Rustad/Malvin) To approve check #4439 to Layne Minnesota Company the final <br />estimate on Project 1970 -2, repair of Well #2, and to enter into a one year <br />,maintenance agreement. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Malvin /Rustad) To advertise for bids for a 1971 police station wagon, <br />with bid opening on October 12th at 8:00 P.M. 5 Ayes <br />Clerk Administrator Z,plla read a letter from the persons bordering the Edgewood <br />walkway requesting that it be fenced at Village expense. D_scussion followed on <br />costs, the possibility of setting a precedent for £etieing v111 ge property, and <br />the placement of the walkway.
