5 <br />Councilman Hodges' Report <br />Councilman Hodges announced receipt of a letter from the Lake Region Hockey <br />Association thanking us for the use of the hockey rinks this past year. <br />Councilman Hodges also presented a check for $75.00 from the Mounds View Jaycees <br />for park improvements. <br />MSP (Hodges /Rusted) To appoint Mrs. Barbara Haake to the Mounds View Recreation <br />Committee. 5 Ayes <br />Councilman Neiaen's Report <br />MSP (Neisen /Ruetad) To send Art Holm to the Water Works Operators School from <br />May 3 5 and Larry Decheine to the Waste Water Operators Institute from May 5 7 <br />and to pay all related expenses. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Neisen /Ruetad) To advertise for bids on April 24th at 12 noon for a tractor <br />to be used in general village maintenance including mowing and ice rink snow <br />removal. <br />MSP (Neisen /Hodges) To set a hearing on May 17th at 7:00 P.M. to consider a <br />renumbering of certain properties in the Village and a possible postal zone change.5 Ayes <br />Attorney Meyers' Report <br />Attorney Meyers announced that Mr. Quayle of Ramsey County was preparing papers <br />necessary to release the Chies Construction Company money to the Village. <br />Attorney Meyers presented an ordinance to amend the present dog ordinance requiring <br />higher license, impounding and board fees. After discussion it was decided to <br />raise the license fee for males and spayed females to $3.00 and unspayed females <br />to $6.00 rather than $12.00.
