too <br />The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Councii was called to order by <br />Mayor Rustad at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, April 26, 1971 at the Village Hail, 2401 <br />Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: <br />Mayor Rustad <br />Councilman Hodges <br />Councilman Blanchard <br />Councilman Neisen <br />Absent: <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />April 26, 1971 <br />Also Present: <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Boehm <br />Councilman Johnson <br />MSP (Blanchard /Hodges) To approve the minutes of April 12, 1971. <br />Residents Requests and Comments from the floor <br />Anthony Holschuh appeared to request the vacation of 30 feet of right -of -way <br />north of Holschuh 1st Addition, dedicated in the plat. <br />MSP (Rustad /Blanchard) To set a hearing to consider the vacation of the north <br />30 feet of Holschuh Addition for May 24th at 8:30 P.M. Said 30 feet was <br />dedicated for Woodale Drive. <br />Bennett Goldberg appeared to request information from the Council on moving a <br />building into Mounds View to be used as an off sale liquor store on the Mermaid <br />Supper Club property bordering on County Road H. Mr. Goldberg was referred to <br />the Clerk- Administrator. <br />Vern Sinderson and Gordon Aspenson appeared to seek the extension of Sunnyside <br />north from Ardan approximately 630 feet. <br />MSP (Rustad /Hodges) To accept the petition for proposed Sunnyside north from <br />Ardan approximately 630 feet and proposed Ardan from Eastwood to Red Oak (1971 -1A) <br />and to embody the preliminary report for 1971 -1 into this project and to set the <br />hearing for May 10th at 8:45 P.M. 4 Ayes <br />The Council emphasized that no storm sewer was necessary for Project 1971 -A. <br />Mr. and Mrs. H. Brandt, 7931 Woodlawn, appeared to request Council approval of a <br />residential kennel license. Their petition was referred to the police department <br />for investigation. <br />Mrs. Verna Brockway, Mayor Rustad's appointee to the St. Paul Association for <br />Retarded Children sponsored Day Camp reported on the meeting and requested <br />Village participation in the funding. <br />MSP (Blanchard /Hodges) To authorize the transfer of $100 from the General Fund <br />to the Recreation Department to contract with the Roseville Parks and Recreation <br />Department to provide facilities for Mounds View retarded children. <br />4 Ayes <br />4 Ayes <br />4 Ayes <br />
