3 <br />MSP (Neisen /Johnson) That Keith Harstad be required to have a soils report <br />by an accredited testing lab on the property to be considered for commercial <br />and townhouses at the hearing scheduled for January 24th, and that it be furnished <br />to the Planning Commission before any action is taken by them in referring the <br />matter to the Village Council. <br />The construction plans of the Martin Oil Company were referred to the Planning <br />Commission in conformance with the Council policy hereby adopted which henceforth <br />provides that any construction plans for commercial, industrial, or apartment <br />buildings be referred to the Planning Commission for their recommendation prior <br />to the issuance of the building permit. <br />Attorney Meyers' Report <br />Attorney Meyers reported that he has filed a copy of Ordinance #64, the <br />Subdivision Regulations, with the Register of Deeds. In conformance with <br />Ordinance #64, he stated that in the future all plats must have a hearing <br />before approval. <br />On rezoning matters Mr. Meyers stated that there are three methods by which a <br />rezoning may be initiated.
