t. <br />Present: <br />Mayor Neisen <br />Councilman Hodges <br />Councilman Johnson <br />Councilman Baumgartner <br />Councilman Pickar <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />January 31, 1972 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Neisen at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, January 31, 1972 at the Village Hall, <br />2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. <br />Also Present: <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Boehm <br />MSP (Hodges /Baumgartner) To approve the minutes of January 10th. <br />MSP (Neisen /Hodges) To approve the minutes of January 26th. <br />Mayor Neisen's Report <br />Mayor Neisen read portions of the police report for the year 1971. <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla's Report <br />MSP (Johnson /Pickar) To approve the following licenses: Heating Anoka Plumbing <br />Heating, D D Anderson Heating Plumbing, Inc., Complete Air Heating Cooling <br />Inc.; General Contractor Myrum Builders; Cigarette and Gasoline Station Elmer <br />Peterson d /b /a Pete's Skelly, Dennis R. Erickson d /b /a Mounds View 76. <br />MSP (Hodges /Baumgartner) To authorize the confiscation of meter deposits to cover <br />delinquent bills for the year 1971. <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla read a list of the persons and the addresses from which <br />deposits were confiscated. He stated that there was only $30.04 out of a total <br />billing in excess of $200,000 which was not covered by meter deposits. <br />Clerk Zylla read a letter from Mrs. Kay Swernik, Program Director for the North <br />Suburban Day Activities Center, in which she expressed her gratitude that the <br />Council approved their request for funds and budgeted the money for their <br />organization. <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla presented two estimates for remodeling the maintenance <br />building to include enlarging the police quarters and providing space for the <br />maintenance department in the area known as the Civil Defense room. Two bids were <br />submitted with the apparent low bidder Ebel Ramacher Corporation at a total cost <br />of $788.
