At the December 7th <br />meeting the Committee voted with one negative vote in favor of denying New Brighton's request. <br />yor Neisen reported that Police Chief Grabowski had recommended two hour parking signs <br />on the West side of Jackson Drive from County Road I to Bronson Drive. <br />Mayor Neisen stated that he had attended two meetings recently, the North Suburban Sewer <br />Advisory Board which did not have a quorum and a meeting with Mr. Conover of District #621. <br />M r. Conover discussed splitting the District into four special districts and funding Mr. <br />Roeow's work through the District. <br />Councilman Bausgartner's Report <br />Councilman Baumgartner declared that a Recreation Commission meeting was held on November <br />30th at which 15 rink attendants were approved. A meeting was scheduled with the attendants <br />on December 7th. <br />MSP (Baumgartner Hodges) To appoint LaVerne Peterson to serve as rink attendant supervisor <br />at a rate of $3.00 per hour not to exceed 12 hours per week. 5 Ayes <br />ouncilman Baumgartner read a letter of appreciation to individuals responsible for <br />''';Istructing a hockey rink at Woodcrest Park and enclosing the new warming house at Green <br />ad Park. <br />Councilman Picker's Report <br />Councilman Picker stated that he attended a Lakeside Park meeting November 29th. Mounds <br />View and Spring Lake Park will jointly maintain a skating area on Spring Lake beginning <br />December 15th. <br />Attorney Meyers' Report <br />Attorney Meyers said one claim remains outstanding relative to the sewer backup of October <br />4, 1972. (Voltin). <br />The Council Set December 26th at 8:30 P.M. for the date to consider the Codification of <br />Ordinances. <br />A proposed swimming pool ordinance was tabled until the next meeting. <br />Attorney Meyers announced the receipt of Century Motor Freight's lease and indenture material. <br />He said the material is over 100 pages and he has completed one review, which contains a <br />number of suggested recommendations. <br />
