Councilman Johnson's Report <br />ouncilman Johnson declared that he has had complaints on snowmobile racing on <br />oodcrest Drive. <br />Councilman Baumgartner's Report <br />Councilman Baumgartner announced that on Thursday the Recreation Commission will meet <br />with Ken Simons on the County Open Space proposal and Wednesday the Planning Commission <br />would meet. <br />MSP (Neisen Pickar) To appoint Gordon Fedor to the Recreation Commission for the one <br />year term. 5 Ayes <br />Councilman Pickar's Report <br />Councilman Pickar announced that he had received an oral resignation from George Johnson <br />from the Lakeside Park Commission. Two openings exist on the Commission. The Lakeside <br />Park Commission will be meeting regularly on the 4th Thursday of the month at 7:30 P.M. <br />Mayor Neisen appointed Councilman Pickar as Council representative to the Human Rights <br />Commission and instructed the Clerk to notify Attorney Meyers to draw up an amendment <br />to the Human Rights Commission Ordinance changing the membership from 5 to 7 members. <br />Engineer Boehm's Report <br />ngineer Boehm presented the plans for Highway Department upgrading of the signalized <br />intersections at State Highway #10 and Silver Lake Road and State Highway #10 and County <br />Road H. No Council action necessary. <br />Engineer Boehm reported on the possible extension of Jackson Drive South to County Road <br />I from Pinewood Drive. He presented a 1966 cost estimate of $6,960 and noted that the <br />cost may be up considerably since then. <br />MSP Pickar- Neisen) To order the Engineer to prepare a preliminary report and cost <br />estimate for the extension of Jackson Drive South to County Road I from Pinewood Drive. <br />(Project 1973 -3). 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Hodges- Johnson) To approve the final plat of the PBK Investment Company and to <br />authorize the Clerk to sign it. 5 Ayes <br />(First plat approved on October 10, 1972 never filed). <br />MSP (Pickar- Baumgartner) To adjourn at 9:18 P.M. 5 Ayes <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Dennis S.
