Councilman Johnson stated that street sweeping south of Highway 10 was almost <br />completed. <br />Councilman Baumgartner's Report <br />Councilman Baumgartner stated that Ken Simmons will be at the Recreation <br />Committee meeting on April 26th. He also thanked the Mounds View snowmobile <br />club for their recent $300.00 donation which is allocated to park improvements. <br />Councilman Baumgartner read the Planning Commission minutes of March 28th. <br />MSP (Baumgartner Pickar) To approve the subdivision request of Glen Baxton <br />to divide Lot 1, Block 6, Laport Meadows into the north 120 feet thereof <br />and except the N 120 feet thereof subject to the payment of $986.40 in <br />additional assessments. <br />Councilman Pickar's Report <br />Councilman Pickar said that sand seeding would take place at Lakeside Park <br />this year. In addition, Spring Lake Park School District will assist the <br />Commission in hiring life guards. <br />Attorney Meyers" Report <br />Having investigated the Village's ability to fund Rick Rosow's salary as an <br />employee of the school district, Attorney Meyers stated that the joint powers <br />agreement between Mounds View and other communities has been terminated and <br />there is no written agreement to fund this expenditure. In fact, to do so <br />may be an illegal expenditure. <br />Clerk Zylla is to notify the school district of Attorney Meyers finding. <br />Attorney Meyers presented copies of Ordinance No. 200 renumbering certain <br />residences and businesses in the Village effective September 1, 1973. <br />MSP (Johnson Pickar) To adjourn at 11:45 P.M. 4 Ayes <br />,Respectfully Submitted, <br />is ,I l, <br />Dennis S.
