Councilman Johnson's Report <br />MSP (Johnson Pickar) To approve the installation of six street lights on <br />Louisa and Clearview Avenue in Red Oak Estates Plat #2. <br />-2- <br />MSP (Hodges Baumgartner) To approve the bills: General Fund checks #7214 <br />through #7242, Payroll Account checks #1014 through 1016, Payroll checks #253 <br />through #281, Transfer check #1017 transferring $1,202.10 to the General Fund <br />from the Payroll Account to repay General Fund for employee share of Health/ <br />Life Insurance paid for January, February, and March, Transfer check #7243 <br />transferring $10,412.10 to the Payroll Account to pay gross pay ofAApril 30th <br />from: General $8,244.45, from Water Utility $1,357.51 and from Sewer <br />Utility $810.14. Total disbursements $21,198.55. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Johnson Pickar) Approving transfer check #7244 transferring $121,651.44 <br />to Improvement Bond from 1971 -1 Construction Fund to close out Construction <br />Fund 1971 -1 IA and 1972 -1 lA and approving transfer check #7245 transferring <br />$89,86700 to the Bond Account from Water Utility to Water Bond $22,858.00, <br />from Water Utility to 1968 -3 Bond $6,913.00, from Sewer Utility to Improvement <br />Bond $60,096.00 transferring utility earnings to pay for cancelled tax levy <br />Resolution #578. 5 Ayes <br />Clerk Zylla informed the Council that members are being sought for a community <br />advisory committee to work on a project entitled "Ramsey County Route Ridership <br />Improvement Project The purpose of this project is to upgrade the quality <br />and the quantity of bus transportation in northern Ramsey County. <br />Clerk Zylla notified the Council that the Director of the Bureau of Mediation <br />Services has certified Teamsters Local #320 as the bargaining representative <br />for non supervisory employees of the Mounds View Police Department, and that <br />based on authorization cards signed by over 50 percent of the eligible employees <br />an election for certification of Local 320 was waived. <br />MSP (Hodges Johnson) To approve Appendix "B" Fringe Benefits to the master <br />contract between Local #49 and the Village of Mounds View and authorizing <br />the Mayor and Clerk to sign it. 5 Ayes <br />5 Ayes <br />Councilman Baumgartner's Report <br />MSP (Baumgartner- Hodges) To award the bid for installation of fencing at <br />Lambert Park to Shadawn Fence Company and to authorize payment subject to the <br />approval of the installation by the building inspector. 5 Ayes <br />Council instructed the Clerk to send a letter to Montgomery Wards and Sears <br />Roebuck notifying them that fence permits are required in the Village of <br />Mounds View. <br />MSP (Baumgartner- Johnson) To employ Richard Hanson to work in the Recreation <br />Department for a period not to exceed 120 working days at a rate of pay of <br />$2.50 per hour. 5 Ayes <br />MSP (Johnson Pickar) To recess the regular meeting at 8:30 P.M. 5 Ayes <br />
