SPECIAL MEETING <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />A Special Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Neisen at 7:02 P.M., December 3, 1973 at 2401 Highway #10, Mounds View, <br />Minnesota 55112. <br />Present: <br />Mayor Neisen <br />Councilman Johnson <br />Councilman Baumgartner <br />Councilman Pickar <br />Absent: <br />Councilman Hodges <br />Also Present: <br />Mayor Neisen explained the purpose of the meeting this evening. <br />Clerk Administrator Zylla <br />At the last regular Council Meeting the Council had entertained a request for <br />Mr. Robert Waste, owner of the B R Liquor Store, to expand his liquor store <br />into his grocery store area. The Council at that meeting decided to send Ar. <br />Waste to the November 28th Planning Commission meeting. <br />Councilman Baumgartner read the applicable portion of the Planning Commission <br />minutes of November 28th in which Mr. Waste agreed to control the traffic <br />problem. Robert Waste stated that if it gets real bad he would move out and <br />build again somewhere else, but that he could hire someone to police the <br />situation in the meantime. <br />MSP Neisen- Pickar) To approve the expansion plan for the B R Liquor Store <br />in the area presently occupied as B R Grocery Store at 2345 County Road H2 <br />subject to Robert Waste solving any traffic problems that may result by the <br />expansion. <br />MSP (Baumgartner- Johnson) To accept the Recreation Commission's recommendation <br />and to request a cash dedication in lieu of a land dedication in Programmed <br />Land 1st Addition in accordance with Mounds View Municipal Code, Section 42.07. <br />4 Ayes <br />MSP (Baumgartner- Pickar) To approve the preliminary plat of Programmed Land <br />1st Addition. 4 Ayes;; <br />The Council was in agreement that the holding pond required by the Rice Creek <br />Watershed District should remain the property of the owner with provision made <br />that if the area is not maintained to the satisfaction of the Council that the <br />cost of any improvement be levied to the property within the plat. <br />MSP (Johnson Baumgartner) To adjourn at 7:12 P.M. <br />espectfully Submitted, <br />(.144:J/1 <br />Dennis S.
