Attorney Meyers' Report <br />-5- <br />MSP (Johnson Baumgartner) To set a hearing to consider the issuance of a <br />special use permit for a motor freight terminal in the Mounds View Industrial <br />Park for Smiths Transfer Corps. on eight acres for February llth at 8:30 P.M. <br />MSP (Hodges- Baumgartner) To approve the subdivision request for Vern Sinderson <br />to subdivide Auditor's Subdivision #89, subject to road, Lot 46 except the South <br />276 feet thereof into three lots as specified on the survey dated August 22, <br />1973 subject to a dedication of 30 feet for a future street on the west of the <br />property. 5 <br />MSP (Baumgartner- Hodges) To approve the subdivision request of Gene Schouweiler <br />to subdivide lot 45 Spring Lake Park Knolls Addition into the west 140 feet and <br />the east 179 feet subject to a 30 foot road easement dedication on the west 140 <br />feet and subject to payment of additional assessments on the east 110 feet of <br />the west 140 feet. 5 Ayes <br />Councilman Baumgartner read the Recreation Commission minutes of January 24th. <br />He acknowledged that Douglas Bryant did accept the position of Park and <br />Recreation Director for the City of Mounds View effective March 1st and that <br />there may be two openings soon on the Park and Recreation Commission as a result <br />of changing the structure of the Commission removing councilmen from serving <br />on it directly. <br />Councilman Pickar's Report <br />Councilman Picker announced that in attendance this evening was Mr. Mike Daley <br />a prospective candidate for an opening on the Mounds View Human Rights <br />Commission. <br />MSP (Neisen- Hodges) Receiving a memorandum from Attorney Meyers relative to <br />the request of James Schlichtmann for severance pay and to forward a copy of <br />the memo to Mr. Schlichtmann's attorney. <br />MSP (Hodges Baumgartner) To adopt Ordinance No. 207 forbidding the issuance <br />of an off -sale license from any premise where an on -sale intoxicating license <br />has been issued effective January 1, 1975. <br />MSP (Pickax- Baumgartner) To adopt Resolution No. 208 establishing a separate <br />Park and Playground fund. <br />MSP (Johnson Baumgartner) To adjourn at 10:03 P.M. <br />espectfully Submitted, <br />Dennis S.
