Present: <br />Mayor Neisen <br />Councilman Hodges <br />Councilman Baumgartner <br />Councilman Pickar <br />Absent: <br />Councilman Johnson <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A Regular Meeting of the Mounds View City Council was called to order by Mayor <br />Neisen at 8:00 P.M. on April 22, 1974 at the Mounds View City Hall, 2401 Highway <br />#10, Mounds View, Minnesota 55112. <br />Mayor Neisen read a letter from Ery Herbst expressing deep appreciation for the <br />commendable service he has received from the Mounds View Police Department. <br />Included was a check for $100.00 which will be used toward the purchase of a shell <br />reloader. <br />MSP (Hodges Baumgartner) To approve the minutes of April 8, 1974. <br />MSP Pickar- Hodges) To approve the minutes of April 9, 1974. <br />Residents Requests and Comments from the Floor <br />Also Present: <br />Clerk- Administrator Zylla <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Engineer Comstock <br />MSP (Neisen Baumgartner) To order the installation of a street light at the corner <br />of County Road H2 and Skiba Drive. 4 Ayes <br />James Bremer, President of Cross of Glory Lutheran Church requested that Cross <br />of Glory Lutheran Church be allowed to connect the church and educational building <br />into one common system for sewer and water service. <br />Mayor Neisen's Report <br />4 Ayes; <br />4 Ayes. <br />MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To allow the Cross of Glory Lutheran Church to make a joint <br />connection for water and sewer service to the church and educational building <br />located at 5472 Adams Street subject to receipt of a letter from the church that <br />if the buildings are ever sold to separate owners or not used for religious <br />purposes that the Church, prior to the sale, separate the water and sewer into <br />two distinct systems with individual connections. 4 Ayes! <br />MSP (Baumgartner Pickar) To grant a permit to the Mounds View Lions Club to hold <br />the First Annual Mounds View Arts and Crafts Fair on August 3rd and 4th on the <br />property immediately east of the Launching Pad Supper Club subject to the conditions <br />as set forth in the Lions Club letter to the Council dated April 15th, and that the <br />Lions Club purchase liability insurance, and provide a snow fence around the site. <br />4 Ayes <br />An entrance fee of 25 cents per head is expected to be charged. <br />
