Present: Mayor Neisen Councilman Hodges Councilman Baumgartner Councilman Pickar Absent: Councilman Johnson PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA A Regular Meeting of the Mounds View City Council was called to order by Mayor Neisen at 8:00 P.M. on April 22, 1974 at the Mounds View City Hall, 2401 Highway #10, Mounds View, Minnesota 55112. Mayor Neisen read a letter from Ery Herbst expressing deep appreciation for the commendable service he has received from the Mounds View Police Department. Included was a check for $100.00 which will be used toward the purchase of a shell reloader. MSP (Hodges Baumgartner) To approve the minutes of April 8, 1974. MSP Pickar- Hodges) To approve the minutes of April 9, 1974. Residents Requests and Comments from the Floor Also Present: Clerk- Administrator Zylla Attorney Meyers Engineer Comstock MSP (Neisen Baumgartner) To order the installation of a street light at the corner of County Road H2 and Skiba Drive. 4 Ayes James Bremer, President of Cross of Glory Lutheran Church requested that Cross of Glory Lutheran Church be allowed to connect the church and educational building into one common system for sewer and water service. Mayor Neisen's Report 4 Ayes; 4 Ayes. MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To allow the Cross of Glory Lutheran Church to make a joint connection for water and sewer service to the church and educational building located at 5472 Adams Street subject to receipt of a letter from the church that if the buildings are ever sold to separate owners or not used for religious purposes that the Church, prior to the sale, separate the water and sewer into two distinct systems with individual connections. 4 Ayes! MSP (Baumgartner Pickar) To grant a permit to the Mounds View Lions Club to hold the First Annual Mounds View Arts and Crafts Fair on August 3rd and 4th on the property immediately east of the Launching Pad Supper Club subject to the conditions as set forth in the Lions Club letter to the Council dated April 15th, and that the Lions Club purchase liability insurance, and provide a snow fence around the site. 4 Ayes An entrance fee of 25 cents per head is expected to be charged.
