-3- <br />Councilman Hodges'Report <br />Councilman Hodges thanked the Administrator for his work over the years and <br />wished him the best of luck in his new community. <br />Councilman Johnson's Report <br />Councilman Johnson announced that there will be a meeting of the North Suburban <br />Sewer Advisory Board this coming Thursday. <br />MSP (Johnson- Baumgartner) To send a letter to the Launching Pad informing them <br />of the unsightliness of their Forking lot property, that paper continues blowing <br />into private residential prcperty in the area, and informing them that these <br />matters will be considered when their cn sale intoxicating liquor license comes <br />up for review next r,onth. <br />On questioning from Councilman Johnsen, Attorney reyers stated that the cast <br />iron pipe lawsuit has not been disposed of and as of this date no additional <br />mor;zs have come into the City. <br />Councilman Johnson also thanked the Administrator for his service and stated that <br />he has enjoyed the relationship between each of them since he has beencouncid.man. <br />Councilman Baumgartner's Report <br />Councilman Baumgartner noted that the first City Park and Recreation brochure has <br />been published and mailed. He commended Mr. Bryant, the director, for his work <br />together with the Public Works Department that has spent several hours improving <br />the parks these past few weeks. <br />Councilman Baumgartner echoed the comments of Councilman :lodges and Johnson <br />regarding the resignation of the Administrator. <br />Attorney Meyers'Report <br />MSP (Johnson- Baumgartner) To adopt Ordinance 4 4'213 creating a Recreation <br />Activity Fund. <br />Attorney Meyers presnn?_.2 an Ordinance amending the Sign and Billboard Ordinance <br />and amending Chapter #63, the Fire Code. Both ordinances were tabled until the <br />Council has time to adequately review them. <br />MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To waive the building permit fee, to move a garage for Mr. <br />Harvey Melby, 8371 Eastwood Road because the garage is being moved as a result <br />of the contruction of Project 1973 -4. <br />Engineer Bearden's Report <br />MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To accept the preliminary report and cost estimate for <br />Project 1974 -1 and to send a copy of the report to Smith Transfer and the <br />4 Ayes <br />3 Ayes1 <br />Neisen Naye <br />4 Ayes <br />
