-9- <br />September 22, 1975 <br />Councilman Baumgartner said he feels if a person is not satisfactory <br />they should be terminated. <br />Councilman Pickar agreed. <br />Councilman Shelquist also agreed that unsatisfactory persons should <br />be terminated during probationary period. <br />MSP (Pickar-Shelquist) to recommend termination of Joan Greig effective <br />October 7, 1975, based on staff recommendation. <br />Councilman Pickar'sReeort <br />Councilman Pickar announced he received the statement of receipts <br />and fund balances for the year ending December 1974 for Lakeside Park, <br />summary of Lakeside Park 1975 budget including proposed budget for <br />1976. <br />He acknowledged receipt of official attendance of residents for Mounds <br />View, Spring Lake Park and surrounding communities participation in <br />the swimming lessons for 1975. <br />Councilman Shelguist's Re2ort <br />Councilman Shelquist announced the Planning Commission meeting to be held <br />September 24, 1975, at 7:30 p.m. <br />He said he was uncomfortable about the allowable depth for basement in <br />the city. He does not think establishing a water table of four feet is going <br />to protect us in future years. <br />Attorney_Mexers' <br />Attorney Meyers reminded Council of the holiday on October 13. <br />MSP (Johnson Pickar) to hold the next regular Council meeting on <br />October 14, 1975 at 8:00 p.m. <br />Engineer Bearden's Report <br />Engineer Bearden reported on Project 1975 -4 Mounds View Square drainage <br />improvement. He said the ditch has been regraded, banks have been sodded, <br />roadside has been seeded. The project is about completed with the <br />exception of lowering one culvert under the driveway and putting in <br />a swale to the Highway. He said Don Paster and manager indicated if <br />the culvert isn't where it is supposed to be they would lower it. <br />MSP (Baumgartner Pickar) to cancel Project 1975 -4 Mounds View Square <br />drainage bid opening scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on 9/25/75. 4 Ayes <br />Engineer Bearden explained the lighting arrangement tor the new <br />city hall parking lot. <br />MSP (Baumgartner- Johnson) to adjourn at 12:25 p.m. 4 Ayes <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />)6zAkideil4A, <br />Mar* Achen <br />4 Ayes <br />4 Ayes <br />
