-8- <br />The proposed contract with Midwest Planning Research was <br />tabled until later, as their representative had not arrived yet. <br />Lease of water tower space for Robert Comer Associates <br />radio antenna. Administrator Achen stated that the lease is <br />patterned after the lease in existence for an antenna on the <br />water tower in Columbia Heights. It would be $15 per month <br />payable semi annually in advance. <br />MSP (Johnson Baumgartner) that we execute the lease between <br />the City of Mounds View and Robert Comer Associates. 5 ayes <br />Baumgartner said that we should make sure there is <br />no interference. Administrator Achen replied that there are <br />technical ways in which to filter it. <br />Engineer Bearden stated that he had no report. Councilman <br />Shelquist told him that there is water at the south end of <br />Fairchild Avenue at Highway 10 and that cars, in order to <br />avoid getting their brakes wet, drive on the property immediatly <br />to the east. Could the State be contacted to clean the ditch <br />out? Engineer Bearden will contact them. He left at 10:30 p.m. <br />Adoption of the Comprehensive Plan. The administrator stated <br />that it would be appropriate to set a public hearing to be sure <br />there are no problems with the adoption of the Comprehensive <br />Plan. <br />MSP (Baumgartner Shelquist) to set a public hearing for 8:30 p.m. <br />on April 12, 1976, to consider the Comprehensive Plan. 5 ayes <br />Resolution endorsing reenactment of Federal revenue sharing. <br />Congressman Karth has requested this with specific examples. <br />MSP (Shelquist Pickar) to adopt Resolution #715 for reenactment <br />of Federal revenue sharing. 5 ayes <br />Resolution endorsing extension of CETA Title VI public service <br />employment program. <br />MSP (Hodges Shelquist) to adopt Resolution #716 to endorse exten- <br />sion of CETA Title VI public service employment program. 5 ayes <br />The new license applications were discussed and Budrick D. <br />Teslow, 7932 Fairchild Ave., who has applied for a license to <br />sell Mexican imports, April- December, 1976, asked to be heard. <br />Mr. Teslow stated that he will sell on corners and has four <br />sites in mind: the Launching Pad, triangular piece of land at <br />Red Oak and Highway 10, southeast corner of County Rd. I and <br />Highway 10, and by North Suburban Rent -All at 2190 Highway 10. <br />Launching Pad has answered his request, and he will sit under <br />their sign on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. <br />
