The home would be operated by five full -time staff on a 24 hour hospital shift basis. Patrick Sweeney introduced himself as the attorney for Mrs. Singer and gave a general background of the proposed home. He stated that Mrs. Singer has gone through the program with the State Welfare Department and has filed an application with the City of Mounds View. The State Health Department and the Fire Department have both approved the property in question, with one small modification being required by the Fire Department regarding a fire exit on the second floor of the home. Mr. Sweeney stated that the Council had received copies of the program Mrs. Singer intends to conduct at the home, if it is approved.
