November 27, 1978 Page 9 <br />Attorney Meyers reported on negotiations with Kraus Anderson for <br />purchase of 19 acres for park purposes. He feels that condemnation <br />might not be appropriate, since the LAWCON grant could be insufficient <br />to pay condemnation prices for the 19 acres. Attorney Meyers asked that <br />staff let him know what options are available to the city under the <br />grant regulations. <br />Administrator Achen reported that the Metropolitan Council will <br />conduct a public hearing on its proposed Solid and Hazardous Waste <br />Management Policy Plan December 19, 1978.
