Mayor McCarty <br />Councilmember Hodges <br />Councilmember Rowley <br />Councilmember Ziebarth <br />Councilmember Forslund <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A regular meeting of the Mounds View City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor McCarty at 7:37 PM on April 9, 1979 at the Mounds View City <br />Hall, 2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, MN 55112. <br />Members Present: Also Present: <br />Acting Clerk- Administrator Anderson <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Mayor McCarty asked that the minutes of the March 26, 1979 meeting be <br />corrected to add, at the end of the first paragraph on page 4, held <br />as security for City certificates of deposit. <br />MSP (Hodges- Ziebarth) to approve the minutes of the March 26, 1979 <br />meeting as corrected. 5 svgs <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS AND REQUESTS <br />Peg Mountain, 8287 Red Oak Drive stated that she had atte., d a street <br />and highway workshop in New Brighton on April 7 and that she will be <br />presenting the Council with a written summary shortly. She reviewed <br />briefly what was discussed in the workshop and asked the Council to <br />consider appointing a transportation liaison between the neighboring <br />cities. <br />APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA <br />Mayor McCarty asked that items B, C, D and I be removed from the <br />consent agenda. <br />MSP (Ziebarth- Rowley) to approve the consent agenda as follows: 5 ayes <br />ITEM A. Authorize hire of Sue Monson of Kelly Girl as a temporary <br />clerical employee at the hourly rate of $8.10 effective <br />April 9, 1979. <br />ITEM E. Adopt Resolution No. 979 authorizing the Mayor and Clerk <br />Administrator to execute the LAWCON Fund Project Agreement <br />in the amount of $68,400.00 for development of Silver View <br />Park. This agreement between the City and the State of <br />Minnesota authorizes expenditure of project funds. <br />
