MEMBERS PRESENT: <br />Mayor P•lcCarty <br />Councilmember Forslund <br />Councilmember Rowley <br />Councilmember Hodges <br />Councilmember Ziebarth <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A regular meeting of the Mounds View City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor McCarty at 7 :30 p.m. on June 25, 1979, at the Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, MN 55112. <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Acting Administrator Anderson <br />Attorney Meyers <br />Building Zoning Official Rose <br />MSP (McCarty /Rowley) to approve the June 11, 1979, minutes as corrected. <br />APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA <br />Councilmember Rowley stated that Item J regarding Resolution #994 on The Aviation <br />Safety and Noise Reduction Act" should be sent to the proper people. <br />Mayor McCarty asked Acting Administrator Anderson the results of the City's <br />investigation at the Launching Pad. Acting Administrator Anderson stated that <br />the report did not uncover any irregularities. Installation of a fence is the <br />only problem at this time and Al Hartinger, owner of the Launching Pad, is willing <br />to install a fence without webbing. Staff stated it was an eyesore. <br />5 ayes <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS AND REQUESTS <br />Maynard Bowman, 8046 Long Lake Road, stated he obtained a building permit through <br />the City and that his neighbor did not like the height of the windows. Mayor McCarty <br />stated that any appeal had to be in writing and would then be put on future C.,uncil <br />agenda. <br />Neil Loeding, 5046 Longview Drive, wanted a correction made on Page 7 of the June 11, <br />1979, minutes regarding the developer. Councilmember Ziebarth asked that he put <br />his correction in writing for clarification at the next Council meeting. <br />Councilmember Rowley said the statement should reflect the George Halverson development. <br />Tom Fuller, 8466 Eastwood Drive NE, was concerned about what he had heard at the <br />public hearing for Highway 10 and wanted a resolution stating objection to the <br />relocation since it included an interchange north of Red Oak Drive. <br />Mayor McCarty asked that the Launching Pad's license be removed from the consent <br />agenda. <br />MSP (Rowley /Ziebarth) to approve the consent agenda, minus the Launching Pad <br />license. 5 ayes <br />
