PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to CALL TO ORDER <br />order at 7:35 PM, July 23, 1979 by the Mayor. <br />Members Present: Mayor McCarty, Councilmembers 1. ROLL CALL <br />Forslund, Hodges, Rowley, Ziebarth <br />Members Absent: City Attorney Meyers <br />Also Present: Building Zoning Official Rose, <br />City Administrator Nelson <br />Ziebarth made the motion, seconded by Forslund <br />the minutes of July 9 be approved as corrected. <br />4 ayes <br />(Rowley abstained due to absence.) 1 abstention <br />There were none at this time. 3. PETITIONS OR COMPLAINTS"- <br />Hodges made the motion, seconded by Ziebarth <br />to approve the Consent Agenda. See attached.) <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays <br />The Mayor requested this matter be handled at <br />this time. Mr. Fedor has dropped all complaints <br />in this issue. City Administrator read Resolution <br />1001 which grants approval of Bowman's appeal to <br />remove the stipulation prnhihit_in2 his placement <br />of windows on the south side of his building, <br />toward Fedor's house. Council made an on -site <br />inspection of the residences July 16, 1979. <br />The Council supports the variance granted for <br />substandard side yard setback. <br />Forslund made the motion, seconded by Rowley, <br />to adopt Resolution 1001. <br />4 ayes <br />(Mayor abstained because it 1 abstention <br />involves friends and neighbors.) <br />The Amundsens seek a minor subdivision of two <br />lots at 7092 Pleasant View Drive. Planning <br />Commission approved, but asked that Parcel A <br />be treated as a corner lot, without requesting <br />an easement. If the city makes it a corner lot, <br />it would have to take an easement, making it a <br />substandard sized lot.
