PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Mayor McCarty called the meeting to order <br />at 6:40 p.m. on December 17, 1979 at the <br />Mounds View City Hall. <br />Members Present: Mayor McCarty, Council- 2. ROLL CALL <br />members Forslund, Hodges, Rowley, Ziebarth. <br />Also Present: City Attorney Meyers, Building <br />Zoning Official Rose, Park Director Anderson, <br />City Finance Director Brager, and the City <br />Clerk Administrator Nelson. <br />Rowley moved to adopt the Consent Agenda with 3. CONSENT AGENDA <br />the exception of Item C. Ziebarth seconded <br />the motion. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays <br />Pleasant View Court Street Opening. Rose noted 4. ITEM C: PLEASANT <br />to the City Council that there was a need to VIEW COURT STREET <br />open the Pleasant View Court Stret, which OPENING <br />was put in during 1979. The Council set <br />a public hearing for January 3, 1980 for the <br />purposes for opening the street. <br />Rowley moved the establishment of a Public <br />Hearing for the opening of Pleasant View <br />Court on January 3, 1980 at 8 :00 p.m. <br />Hodges seconded the motion. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays <br />The Mayor introduced Dr. Roger Machmeier <br />to the members of the City Council and <br />staff. Nelson gave background information <br />as to the status of the invoices and work <br />performed by him. He further noted that <br />he sent a letter to Dr. Machmeier out- <br />lining questions that the Council had <br />agreed to help resolve this issue. Dr. <br />Machmeier gave some opening remarks as <br />to what he felt were the primary issues <br />centering on the report that he submitted <br />to the City.
