MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL November 24, 1980 <br />Regular Meeting Page Four <br />The Council discussed accepting the Silverview <br />Drive and Miller Industrial Park projects for <br />possible MSA street projects for 1981. <br />Clerk- Administrator Pauley will prepare resolu- <br />tions for the Council to approve regarding the <br />proposals. <br />MOTION: Ziebarth made a motion, seconded by <br />wle <br />Roey, to accept the petition for public <br />improvements (dated 11- 21 -80) from the owners, <br />Kraus Anderson and M E Realty, pursuant to <br />Chapter 26.05, Subd. 5 of the municipal code. <br />(Project 81 -1). <br />Ayes -4 <br />Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED <br />ROSE: <br />1. He has received two half sections of the <br />topo maps. He will be sending copies to <br />the Council and Planning Commission as they <br />start coming in. <br />2. He needs Council's approval to send two <br />Planning Commissioner's to an annual <br />conference on planning and zoning. <br />MOTION: McCarty made a motion, seconded by <br />Hodges, to authorize the Building and Zoning <br />Official to transfer funds to cover the cost <br />of attendance for two planning commissioners <br />to attend the 6th Annual Planning and Zoning <br />Institute on December 12th and 13th from the <br />Building and Zoning Department budget. <br />Ayes -4 <br />Nays -0 <br />MOTION CARRIED. <br />3. He currently has an opening for a secretary. <br />One applicant, Mounds View's current recep- <br />tionist, has applied for the position. He <br />recommends to Council that they hire her <br />for this secretarial position. <br />MOTION: Rowley made a motion, seconded by <br />Ziebarth to promote Barbara Collins from recep- <br />tionist to secretary for the Building and Zoning <br />Department, effective 11- 24 -80, at a rate of <br />$4.95 /hour (to be raised to $5.25 /hour after <br />successful completion of her probationary period). <br />Ayes -4 <br />Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED. <br />12.
